Richard L. Faber grew up in Zambia, Africa. He learned about God at boarding school and lived among missionaries in his early years. In 1977 at age 10, he moved to America. In 1991 he earned a BSEE from Pennsylvania State University and in 1993 started working for the Philadelphia Phillies. After an office shutdown he started working at Reuters. During this time he married his dream girl from Brazil. Since 1999, he has been working for Planalytics. He has 4 children.

His current interests include:
The Bible, theology, early church ideas, electronics, simple living, Linux, programming, solar and alternative energy, etc.

He has lived in Zambia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. He has visited Brazil, Mexico, Canada, West Germany, East Germany (1977), Kenya and Malawi.

Years ago, in Zambia, at boarding school, he was greatly influenced by reading the Bible at the age of 8, 9 and 10. He discovered the meaning of life along with heroes like the Apostle Paul.

He believes Jesus is the author of life and that abiogenesis and multiverse* are crazy ideas.

He thinks God created the world in six days and recommends these videos.

He likes Christian scientists like James Clerk Maxwell and Michael Faraday who did great science and believed in God. They believed God created the world unlike many modern scientists today. Modern science often believes the impossible idea that the world came from nothing. We think it is interesting that God allowed a Jewish man to discover "E=mc2." Although Einstein was confused about God, he respected some of the greatest scientists. On his wall in Princeton, Einstein had three famous scientists on hanging on his wall. In his own words, he says he was greatly influenced by Isaac Newton, Michael Faraday, and especially James Clerk Maxwell. All these men believed in God as the creator. We especially appreciate Maxwell for his science, his foundational role in Electrial Engineering and his Christian faith. Here is a quote of his,

"At the same time I think that each individual man should do all he can to impress his own mind with the extent, the order, and the unity of the universe, and should carry these ideas with him as he reads such passages as the 1st Chap. of the Ep. to Colossians (see Lightfoot on Colossians, p.182), just as enlarged conceptions of the extent and unity of the world of life may be of service to us in reading Psalm viii, Heb ii 6, etc." http://silas.psfc.mit.edu/Maxwell/.

We are surprised and shocked to see some Christian pastors and theologians promoting various forms of theistic evolution. Some include Biologos, Verne Poythress, John C. Collins, Tim Keller, etc. We recommend "Coming to Grips with Genesis" by Terry Mortenson and Thane H. Ury for a more biblical understanding of Genesis. These videos discuss this issue.
