We are surprised and shocked to see some Christian pastors and theologians promoting various forms of theistic evolution. Some include Biologos, Verne Poythress, John C. Collins, Tim Keller, etc. We recommend "Coming to Grips with Genesis" by Terry Mortenson and Thane H. Ury for a more biblical understanding of Genesis.
