Richard L. Faber grew up in Zambia, Africa. He learned about God at boarding school and lived among missionaries in his early years. In 1977 at age 10, he moved to America. In 1991 he earned a BSEE from Pennsylvania State University and in 1993 started working for the Philadelphia Phillies. After an office shutdown he started working at Reuters. During this time he married his dream girl from Brazil. Since 1999, he has been working for Planalytics. He has 4 children.
His interests include: The Bible, theology, early church ideas, missions, electronics, simple living, Linux, programming, solar and alternative energy, etc.
He has lived in Zambia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. He has visited Brazil, Mexico, Canada, West Germany, East Germany (1977), Kenya and Malawi.
Years ago, in Zambia, at boarding school, he was greatly influenced by reading the Bible at the age of 8, 9 and 10. He discovered meaningful life and inspiring heroes like the Apostle Paul.
He believes Jesus is the author of life and that abiogenesis and multiverse are silly ideas.
He likes John Sanford's
ideas showing evolution works in reverse.
He agrees with James Tour
that spontaneous generation can't happen.
He thinks the Big Bang model
makes no sense.
He likes Christian scientists like James Clerk Maxwell and Michael Faraday who believed God is the creator.
He is sad to see foolish Christian theologians promoting
theistic evolution.
